Football & cheerleading registration IS NOW OPEN

Registration is now OPEN for 2024!  Click here to access our Registration pages, where you can register your children for one of our Glastonbury Youth Football & Cheer programs this year.  

Once you have completed the registration process, return to this page and download any documents that must be submitted in order to have your children join us this season.  

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.  Please contact GYFA Treasurer Shane Grigas by E-mail or reach out to any member of the GYFA Board of Directors for details.  All inquiries will be kept confidential.

Prior to the start of practice this summer, you will be required to provide the following documents for each child who is registered in a Glastonbury Youth Football & Cheer program, as required by GYFA and American Youth Football & Cheer.

For each child registered to play flag football, we must receive a copy of a birth certificate; a copy of a school report card for the most recent year completed; and completed GYFA Flag Football Registration forms (linked below), which include:

• GYFA Expectations of All Adults (signed by parents or guardians);
• GYFA Code of Conduct (signed by players);
• AYF Image Release (signed by parents); and
• AYF Medical Clearance Form (completed by a physician, dated after January 1, 2024); 
• Emergency Medical Treatment, Consent and Information (signed by parents); and
• AYF Waiver and Release from Liability (signed by parent and child).

For each child registered to play tackle football, we must receive a copy of a birth certificate; a copy of a school report card for the most recent year completed; and completed GYFA Tackle Football Registration forms (linked below), which include:

• GYFA Expectations of All Adults (completed by parents or guardians);
• GYFA Code of Conduct (signed by players);
• AYF Image Release (signed by parents or guardians);
• AYF Medical Clearance Form (completed by a physician, dated after January 1, 2024); 
• Emergency Medical Treatment, Consent and Information (completed by parents or guardians); and
• AYF Waiver and Release from Liability (completed by parents or guardians and child), as well as:

AYF Tackle Player Tracking Forms (linked below, completed by parents or guardians), AYF Concussion Reporting Forms (linked below, completed by parents or guardians and children), and AYF Code of Conduct (linked below, completed by parents or guardians).
