REGISTRATION FOR FOOTBALL AND cheer IS now OPEN

Registration for the 2025 seasons of Glastonbury Youth Football & Cheer is now open!  

• To register for TACKLE FOOTBALL (grades 2-8) in 2025, please visit this link.
• To register for FLAG FOOTBALL (grades K & 1) in 2025, please visit this link.
• To register for CHEERLEADING (grades K & 1 OR grades 2-8) in 2025, please visit this link.  

Please have the following materials ready prior to beginning the registration process:

• player/cheerleader information (name, address, date of birth, age, and grade and school for 2025-26); 
• contact information of at least one parent or guardian (name, address, telephone number, E-mail);
• insurance information (name of insurance carrier, policy number, name of policy holder, if applicable);
• primary care physician information (name, address, phone number) and preferred hospital;
• any allergies or other medical information for your player or cheerleader; and
• your Visa or MasterCard information.

This year, Glastonbury Youth Football & Cheer is again offering a family maximum of $650 per family, regardless of a number of players or cheerleaders registered.  If your combined subtotals exceed $650, please make arrangements for payment and E-mail us at gyfainfo@gmail.com to request an appropriate refund.  No requests for refunds will accepted after August 24, 2025.

FINANCIAL AID IS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY

At Glastonbury Youth Football & Cheer, we believe that all children who are interested in football or cheerleading should be able to participate, regardless of their ability to pay.  For this reason, we offer full financial aid to families who receive HUSKY A health insurance.  

Prior to beginning the registration process, please contact GYFA Treasurer Shane Grigas by E-mail or reach out to any member of the GYFA Board of Directors for details.  All inquiries will be kept confidential.

The links above are the first step of the registration process.  After completing your registration, we will need:

• all registration forms, completed and signed by you and your child;
• a report card for the 2024-25 school year; and
• a copy of a birth certificate.

All of the information listed above must be returned to your managers or coaches by JULY 19, 2025.

The registration forms are required by both GYFA and American Youth Football & Cheer.  Fortunately, this year, it is now easier than ever to complete all of your registration forms - we've taken the time to do it for you!  

Please visit your child's SportsEngine profile for his or her GYFA 2025 registration, and select "Download AYF Autoform (.pdf)," as shown below.   Then, print the registration forms, review them for accuracy, sign them with your child, and return the completed and signed forms to your coach or manager, along with a report card from the 2024-25 school year and a birth certificate, and your registration is complete!
